Part of Our MEMBER APPRECIATION EVENT
Join us for a roundtable discussion focusing on mental health in the workplace. The roundtable has been assembled to exhibit our deep appreciation for our members. Proceeds from the discussion will directly contribute to the mission of the SHRM Foundation.
This roundtable discussion explores the realities of mental health in the workplace, the true impact of stress, anxiety, and depression on the global workforce, and solutions that wholly support wellbeing to drive positive health outcomes. It is likely that a significant portion of your workforce is currently dealing with mental health concerns. The reality is that these concerns have a considerable impact on the person, and costly consequences for the business too.
Depression and anxiety have been attributed to over 12 million lost workdays in the United States along. A recent study by the World Health Organization found that mental health issues foster a loss of $1 trillion in the global economy each year due to lost productivity. By 2030, the cumulative cost of mental health is projected to reach $16.3 trillion.
You’ll hear firsthand how to take action in your own organization, and greater community.
This event is sponsored by HORAN and presented by the Miami Valley Human Resources Association. All attendee’s will be provided with lunch, and the MVHRA will host a raffle of various items such as a bottle of bourbon and Amazon gift cards.
