Session Description and Speaker Bio

Speaker: Matthew Bakota, Attorney at Auman Mahan + Furry

Topic: Legal Update

Session Description:
We intend to provide an update of important legislation, case law, and/or other HR-related developments that have occurred since February 2017 and that are expected in the upcoming months. Because we have significant OSHA and worker's comp practices as well, we likely will include discussions on those areas as well, because of the many small mid-size employers involved in MVHRA who may have one person wearing multiple hats (HR, safety, benefits, etc.) within the organization.

Learning Objectives:
1. Updated legislation
2. Updated case law
3. Suggested best practices for complying with the same.
